Walking Tour of a Snowy Day

I thought you might like to see a snowy day in Minnesota.
Today we had a little snow fall, a few inches.
I helped to push 2 cars out of snow banks.
Nothing special, just a Minnesota day.

See the rabbit tracks across my path?
Or rather my tracks across the rabbit's path?

Foot trap.

Across a field.

Drift.

Through the woods.

The last tree on the edge of world!

More snow and a road....if you can find it.

Ice covered vines.
The Ladies liked to sit under there in the summer.

Tree fingers and cockle burrs.

Gnome home.

Winter flowers.

Brrr! Chilly Chicks

I took a few pictures of the Girls on Tuesday.

"Can I get a little privacy?"

I love this picture for some reason. The purple chick on the right and the hawky on the left.

Fluffy!

Zela checking out the cold snow.

Brrrrr!

"No thanks! It's too cold!"
Look at those fluffed up feathers!

One of the red girls chasing Ray the cat.

Zoom!

Watch out below!

"I'm outta here! Too many chicks for one man(ly cat)!"

Such a pretty girl.

It's A Blizzard

This was taken from my back porch. The garden. Snow garden.

I just drove home from work

and it is not just snowing - it is blowing and really, really snowing.

There is already a 1 1/2 inch accumulation on the ground.

The roads are still fairly warm, so the snow isn't accumulating on them as much, but it was really hard to see the road with all the snow blowing around.

*sigh*

I guess our 3 weeks of Fall are over.
