I love making and using beer soap! Beer contains lots of natural sugars (those liquid calories 😃) and those sugars create a soap with a fluffy, bubbly lather.
The beer creates these lathering properties when the sugars react with the other soapmaking ingredients during the saponification (when soap turns into soap) process.
It's an amazing chemical reaction and it makes wonderful soap!
