Pixie died today.
There was an accident with a dog.
I'm just waiting for Charlie, Carol's husband, to bring her to my house.
Then I will bury her next to Honey.
This is a video of Pixie in July

Well, I buried her.
I cried a lot.
She is buried between Honey and a mint plant.
My hands still smell like mint.
im so sorry. she was such a pretty girl :(
ReplyDeleteAwww thats so sad...
ReplyDeleteThanks guys.
ReplyDeleteIt's been really hard to get use to not seeing her every day.
She was the chick I helped hatch, so ...yeah it's been a tough week.
Greetings from Western Australia,
ReplyDeleteI'm deeply sorry to hear about your loss. It must be so heartbreaking espeically when you were involved right from hatching. I had 3 chicks that is 12weeks old now, I got them from the market when they are 2 weeks old and I had them day and night with me. Each morning I will go see them before I head off to work. Each evening I will let them out of their pen to roam around. They are silly birds but I love them. Can't imagine a day without them now.
Hope you are feeling better.
Jo
